Overall it's a great card for the price, via MythTV/Linux or MCE/Windows. It will work in conjunction with older (PVR-150/350) cards that have onboard encoders however, but that FSB speed is still important. At 1080i that can really tax a system bus, make sure you have at least a 400Mhz+ FSB. This card can be very hard on older systems as it doesn't have any onboard encoders/decoders.
